If there is one character that epitomizes the classicism and the quirk of Milanese style, that’s the sciura: the perfectly coiffed, impeccably dressed, impossibly stylish local madame with a twist. If there is a place where sciuras congregate to chat and possibly gossip, that’s the cafè. If there is a cafè that is quintessentially Milanese, wherever in the world, that’s Sant Amboeus, which is also where The Attico and sciuras meet for a special project.
On the occasion of the opening of the revamped Sant Ambroeus in the historic Corso Matteotti location, The Attico unveils a series of items conceived as an homage to Milanese cafè culture and style, and the place that best expresses it. The Attico Sant Ambroeus comes to life, appropriately, on a group of sciuras: Aida, Maria, Emilia, Rena, plus Rena’s husband Nico, captured on the street or sitting at Sant Ambroeus, chatting and gossiping while fully expressing their uttermost sciura essence.
