Are the nightly scenes she inhabits memories of moments she lived already or mementoes of instants she is about to live? Whatever it is, it’s absorbing her completely, and she cannot be disturbed. Here she stands, in front of a car, in a forest. There she walks, on a narrow, red-carpeted hotel corridor. Here she is in front of a jukebox, undecided on the song she wants to play. Venus in furs is her tongue in cheek choice. She’s wearing a fur coat in fact. A one of a kind piece, part of a curation of six unique items, handpicked by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini and given a complete The Attico makeover - the shapes, the linings, the buttons. Standing tall on bejeweled stilettos, the woman is a feat of allure. Yet, something is different. Both the coat she is wearing and the leftover Swarovski crystals that encrust her pumps, in fact, had a previous life, just like her own memories. Interpreted through a The Attico prism, these pieces invite to have fun with fashion, with a new awareness. Hedonism is great, but it should not be a substitute for absent mindedness. Does it?
