Attico, Italian for penthouse, is a word that conjures visions of lavish abandon from the top floor.
The Attico, with a definite article, is the brainchild of Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini. The Milan based designers launched the project in 2016 out of a shared love for glamour and sparkle. Willing to share their vision, they prompt join us upstairs.






The Attico is a hedonist mindset based on the combination of two very different personalities: one outward, bold and ebullient, the other reserved, calm and considered. Contrasts are electrifying and The Attico strives on that, as Gilda’s knack for feisty opulence meets Giorgia’s sense for sensual restraint. The Attico’s unique aesthetic stems from this juxtaposition.


The Attico is a collection of collectibles: brave items to fall in love with; feats of embellishment, opulence and seduction meant to be collected in time. There is a hint nostalgia to it all: a longing for sparkling times when glamour ruled and sequins, feathers and plunging necklines were a must. Gilda and Giorgia call it modern vintage. The collection is thought for women who are strong, spirited and individual. Women who play with seduction and sophistication, who are all about living large, and enjoying it in whichever way possible.
